1. Introduction
Viewnex ("Viewnex," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by Growth Automator LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Viewnex website, dashboard, campaign tools, integrations, analytics, status page, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using Viewnex, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect information needed to provide, secure, and improve Viewnex. This includes:
- Account information such as your name, email address, team/workspace name, and role.
- Business and campaign information such as websites, products, apps, locations, targeting preferences, audiences, keywords, and campaign instructions.
- Billing and payment records such as invoices, transaction history, card last-4 digits, credit balances, and subscription status.
- OAuth integration data such as access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiry, approved scopes, and account identifiers from platforms you connect.
- Third-party platform data such as campaign, creative, conversion, performance, and reporting data from Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and other services you authorize.
- Usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, feature usage, and error logs.
- Support messages and communications sent through email, chat, help center, or customer support channels.
- Status page notification subscriptions including email addresses and notification preferences.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and improve Viewnex, including: creating and managing your account; building and managing campaigns; connecting and syncing integrations; generating reports, dashboards, and analytics; processing billing, credits, refunds, and subscriptions; providing customer support; maintaining security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection; sending notifications, service updates, and marketing communications (which you can opt out of); and complying with legal obligations and platform policies.
4. Google API data
Viewnex uses Google API data only based on the OAuth permissions you approve. Depending on the integrations you choose to connect, Viewnex may request the following Google permissions, each used for a specific purpose:
- Google Ads (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords) — create, manage, and report on advertising campaigns in the Google Ads accounts you connect.
- Google Analytics (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly) — read analytics and reporting data only, in order to display GA4 traffic, acquisition, and conversion performance in your dashboard.
- Google Tag Manager (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tagmanager.readonly) — read your accounts, containers, workspaces, and tag status so you can select where tracking is configured.
- Google Tag Manager (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tagmanager.edit.containers) — read and manage selected containers and tags for tracking setup, used only when you choose to configure or update conversion tracking through Viewnex. Publishing container changes remains under your control in Google Tag Manager.
- YouTube readonly (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly) — display connected YouTube channel and account data inside your dashboard.
- Viewnex uses the YouTube readonly permission only to read basic YouTube channel and account information, such as channel identity, and public video and channel details, and to display YouTube-related integration and campaign information inside the user dashboard. Viewnex does not use this permission to upload, edit, delete, or manage YouTube videos, comments, subscribers, or channel settings.
- Viewnex's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Advertising platform data
Viewnex may connect with Google Ads, YouTube, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok, and other advertising and measurement platforms to display account, channel, campaign, creative, reporting, conversion, and performance data based on the permissions you grant. YouTube data accessed through this connection is read-only and is used to identify your channel and present campaign and integration information. We only access the data necessary to provide the features you use, and you can disconnect an integration at any time. Disconnecting revokes our access to future data, but may limit related features.
6. OAuth tokens
To keep integrations working, Viewnex may securely store access tokens, refresh tokens, expiry details, approved scopes, and connection metadata. These tokens are encrypted and used only for the purpose of syncing data and performing actions you authorize. Viewnex does not store passwords for third-party platforms. You can review, reconnect, or disconnect integrations from your Connections or Settings page at any time.
7. AI features
Viewnex may use artificial intelligence to generate campaign ideas, ad copy, creative prompts, audience suggestions, and reporting summaries. When you use AI features, the relevant campaign, brand, and prompt content is sent to our AI providers for processing. AI outputs are suggestions only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You must review and approve any AI-generated content before using it in live campaigns.
8. Ad credits and managed campaign data
Viewnex may process ad budgets, prepaid ad credits, AI credits, service fees, campaign instructions, admin approvals, and platform-reported spend. Managed campaign data includes budgets, targeting, creative assets, approvals, and platform-reported delivery. External advertising spend billed directly to your connected ad accounts is separate from Viewnex fees and is not Viewnex revenue.
9. Status page and notifications
Viewnex provides a public status page and may send in-app or email updates about incidents, maintenance, platform issues, and service announcements. If you subscribe to status notifications, we store your email address and preferences to deliver updates. You can unsubscribe from status emails at any time using the link in the email or the status page subscription settings.
12. Data storage and security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging. However, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please report suspected vulnerabilities or unauthorized access to support@viewnexapp.com.
13. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate interests. Account data is retained while your account is active. Campaign reporting is typically retained for 24 months. Billing records are retained as required by law. Pixel and event data may be retained for shorter periods based on feature settings.
14. User choices
You may update your account information, disconnect integrations, change notification preferences, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data where applicable. To delete your account and data, please follow the steps on our User Data Deletion page at /legal/data-deletion, or email support@viewnexapp.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, and in any case within the period required by applicable law.
15. International users
Viewnex is operated from the United States. By using the Services, you understand that your information may be processed, stored, and transferred internationally, including to countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction. We use appropriate safeguards and contractual protections when transferring data across borders.
16. Children's privacy
Viewnex is not intended for children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@viewnexapp.com and we will take steps to delete it.
17. Changes to policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or through the platform at least 14 days before taking effect, where required by law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
